Dr. Hansen specializes in orthopedic sports medicine, advanced shoulder and elbow surgery, knee ligament reconstruction, hip arthroscopy and cartilage restoration. He received his doctorate in medicine from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. Dr. Hansen was then selected to the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (Orthopedic Surgery Residency) in New York City, and interned at The New York- Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He further completed fellowship training at the distinguished Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, Dr. Hansen worked in conjunction with team surgeons providing care for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Angels of Anaheim. He also worked with the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Sparks, the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and University of Southern California football.
